The unique features of Animal Crossing: New Horizons make it a game open to many, various audiences of the most disparate ages. Earlier this month, some spokespersons for Nintendo participated in the CEDEC 2020 (Computer Entertainment Developer Conference), sharing unpublished background on their IPs with the public. Among the distinguished guests attended Aya Kyogoku, director of Animal Crossing New Horizons, along with Hisashi Nogami, responsible for the entire series, touching on various topics, such as the one concerning the average age of the players.

According to the official statistics of the big N, the demographic band most affected by the last chapter it is the one that goes from twenty to thirty years of age, with a substantially identical subdivision between male and female users. Curious to note that the younger players are instead relatively few, and on this point Nogami imagines that that specific group could become more numerous close to the Christmas holidays, a moment in which many children could find the game under the tree.
