PT Honda Prospect Motor released the New Honda City in Indonesia. Sedans that compete with the Toyota Vios, MG 5, and Mazda 2 are now equipped with updates in terms of exterior and advanced features.
“Honda City is one of Honda’s sedan models which has had fans and loyal consumers for more than 25 years of its presence in Indonesia. Now, the New Honda City presents various refreshed looks and safety features that will provide added value to meet the needs of Honda consumers in Indonesia,” said Yusak Billy as Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor in his statement quoted Monday (9/10/2023).
The New Honda City gets a new touch on the grille design and front bumper. The LED Fog lights have also been made more stylish. The New Honda City uses Full LED Headlights and LED Daytime Running Lights.
Meanwhile at the rear of the car, the bumper design looks sharper to add a sporty and elegant impression, which is also further strengthened by the new 16 inch Alloy Wheel design.
Inside the cabin, the New Honda City is now equipped with the latest 4.2 inch Interactive TFT Meter and Auto Headlight feature. In the second row there are two USB C slots which provide convenience for passengers to charge smartphones.

The new feature of the New Honda City is Walk Away Auto Lock which helps lock the vehicle when the user leaves the vehicle. This car is also equipped with a Rear Seat Reminder to remind the driver if there are items left in the second row.
To increase the sense of security for the driver and passengers, the New Honda City is now equipped with advanced Honda SENSING safety technology. Honda SENSING is a series of safety technologies that provide comprehensive protection for the driver and passengers. This technology will provide warnings and automatically take action to reduce the risk of accidents.

Teknologi Honda SENSING pada New Honda City meliputi: Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS), Auto-High Beam (AHB), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) serta Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
The New Honda City still uses a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine. Through this pacemaker, the Honda City can produce maximum power of 121 PS at 6,600 rpm and maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm.
New Honda City is sold for IDR 399,900,000 (OTR Jakarta) with first car ownership status. This car is offered in three color choices, namely Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl.
