New holiday in Ukraine – Rada appointed October 19 the Day of Human Responsibility

308 parliamentarians voted “for”.

Rada appointed this holiday considering “the need for a qualitative transformation of Ukrainian society in the context of understanding and level of responsibility”, as well as the memory of the great Ukrainian – Bohdan Havrylyshyn, the author of the “Declaration of Human Responsibility”.

“To establish in Ukraine the All-Ukrainian Day of Human Responsibility, which is celebrated annually on October 19,” the resolution says.

The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to develop and approve an action plan to celebrate this holiday at the state and local levels.
