Another photo is gaining more and more popularity on Facebook, you see Plovdiv24.bg. The shot seems to have been taken at the sea, but in fact it turns out not to be so at all.

“It’s really nice on Paradise Beach” – that’s how the person who uploaded the photo in one of the Ruse groups captioned the photo.

“It is located on the island of “Lyuleka”. If you are by car – under “Fisherman’s hut” 200 meters to the right and on foot along the sand”, specifies the location of the beach in question, the author of the publication.

Lyulyak Island (or Lelek, old name Delidoruk) is a Bulgarian Danube island, located from 501 to 504.3 km along the river in the municipality of Ruse. Its area is 3.2 km2, which makes it the 6th largest among the Bulgarian Danube islands.

The island is located west of the “Dolapite” district of Ruse and resembles a long tongue with a length of 4.5 km and a maximum width of 0.85-0.9 km. It is separated from the Bulgarian coast by a river channel with a width of 200 m. The largest its height is 27 m, it is located in its southern part and stands 11-12 m above the level of the river.

Formed by the joining of two islands, it is built of river deposits with alluvial soils, overgrown mainly with willow and poplar. At high water levels of the river, some of the lower parts are flooded.

The distance from Ruse to Varna is approximately 190 kilometers.

We remind you that another similar photo from the Danube River became a real hit this year.
