The Board of Directors of Belalp Bahnen AG has elected Mario Gertschen as the new Head of Tourism and Marketing at Belalp Bahnen AG and Blatten-Belalp Tourismus AG.
Mario Gertschen will be the new Head of Tourism and Marketing at Belalp Bahnen AG, including Blatten-Belalp Tourismus AG, on April 1st. He succeeds Joachim Manz. As deputy to CEO Urs Zenhäusern, Mario Gertschen will also take a seat on the management board.
Mario Gertschen is 38 years old, married, father of three school-age children and lives in Naters. In addition to his in-depth training in communication science and tourism management as well as his professional career, Mario Gertschen also stands out for his political record.
The Natischer currently has the vice-presidency of the Naters citizenship and the presidency of the CSP Naters-Birgisch-Mund. Furthermore, his roots and his commitment in various associations and organizations around Belalp-Blatten-Naters speak for him – and ensure that the individual service providers within the Belalp-Blatten-Naters destination are uncomplicated.
The new head of tourism and marketing is currently the project manager of the advertising agency Metaloop AG and, after leaving Valais Tourism as content manager, worked for six years as deputy managing director, head of communications and head of the visitor center for the UNESCO World Heritage visitor center.
