1911 are newly diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours. For the last 24 hours, a total of 24,008 tests were performed, of which 7,157 were PCR and 16,851 were rapid antigen testing.
This means that 7.95% of the tests are positive, according to data from the National Information System. This is an increase of one percent in just 24 hours, when it was 6.5%.
Admissions to the hospital are also increasing rapidly – they are 171 more than the previous day. A total of 2,873 people are currently hospitalized, of which 248 patients are in the intensive care unit.
The total number of confirmed cases is 445,097, of which 23,814 are active.
33 people have died from coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours out of a total of 18,565 people.
13,739 doses of vaccine were administered during the past 24 hours. The number of people with a completed vaccination cycle in Bulgaria is already 1,128,101.
