There is no need to lie to ourselves that the Czech Republic and its citizens are not going through a very difficult period. After years of plenty, a creeping economic crisis came again, which, although it still hasn’t fully started to affect all layers, is slowly progressing from below. The lower and middle economic classes already have great difficulty making ends meet. Everything became considerably more expensive, significantly more than wages rose.
A decent chunk of money
In addition, price increases are widespread and the prices of what people pay the most for, i.e. energy and food, have jumped the most. Of course, there are various support schemes, such as housing benefit, which is used by an increasing number of households. However, you will use it for operating costs. But what about some investments that are talked about so much today. After all, there are a large number of households that would like to renovate their housing so that it is more energy efficient. Thanks to this, they would at the same time save tens of thousands of crowns a year on energy. However, this is a significant one-time cost that they simply do not have. What can they do in that case?
The solution is here, and it is also very robust and of high quality. It’s just that not much is known or talked about. It is called New Green Savings Light, which is exactly the program that low-income households can use. It is designed for those energy renovations that are the simplest and cheapest in their own way, but at the same time bring the biggest one-time benefit.
Specifically, it is necessary to insulate the facade, insulate the roof, insulate the ceiling, insulate the floor, replace the windows or replace the entrance door, thus also solar water heating. At the same time, the state distributes a one-time contribution of 150,000 crowns for these events. This can of course be combined with other subsidies, but this is the basis to which everyone who received housing allowance in the period from September 12 of last year is entitled.

You don’t have to pay anything
The advantage of this post is the fact that you don’t have to compose anything from your own sources. So it’s not the type of subsidy that only covers half of your costs up to a certain amount. Here you can use up the entire 150,000 crowns and not give a single crown from your own resources. This is simply calculated. The point here is that households get more energy-efficient housing, which will also benefit the state as a result.

If you are interested in this money to improve your home, you need to fill out a simple application on the New Green Savings Light website. Applications can be submitted until the middle of next year, so you should hurry to get them. The interest is considerable.
