New GoPro weighs just 56 grams and was designed with drones in mind

GoPro has taken inspiration from its flagship action camera, the Hero 10 Black, to create a new, lighter version to capture high-quality images from the sky. It’s the Hero 10 Black Bones and it’s built to fit drones. It has already been launched in the United States of America and should soon reach the global market, including Portugal. It is on sale in the country for 399 dollars, about 369 euros.

Basically, what GoPro has done with its new model is to transform its high-end product into an action camera for drones. For that, it kept the quality – video resolution of 5.3K at 60 FPS, image stabilization system of HyperSmooth technology and GP2 processor – in a lighter device. Like the parent model, it also allows you to change lens caps, using different filters. It is powered by 2S and 6S batteries and comes with a support to fit drones.
