New glitch to clone Pokémon in the Diamond and Pearl remakes

It’s been a few weeks since the remakes of Diamond and Pearl Pokémon, and as is almost tradition in the saga, the attempts to clone pokemon are the order of the day .. As you well know, due to diferentes glitches, throughout the years and games there have always been various ways to clone our pocket monsters. A few weeks ago we informed you that they had found a way to do it… But it seems that the new updates bring unexpected surprises.

Clone in version 1.1.2 of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remake

It should not be forgotten that these types of errors are susceptible to be corrected in future title updates, so if anyone decides to try to take advantage of them, they should be aware that this could have unknown effects about his departure in the future. Must take the risks personally before venturing into these glitches. However, we consider that it is of interest to report these things, so we detail the cloning process:

  • Prepare the Pokémon, boxes and objects.
  • Deactivate autosave and save the game.
  • Stand in front of the door of a Pokémon center.
  • Open the Poké Clock and the MO application and hover over Flight.
  • Press R and A at the same time to open the Flight screen. Press several times if necessary.
  • If we succeed, we will hear the sound of the door of the Pokémon center opening.
  • Without closing the Flight screen, take 2 steps forward and 6 to the right to go down the stairs of the Pokémon center.
  • Go back up the ladder taking 1 step to the right, 5 to the left and 2 down.
  • Once outside, press A over a city to fly there, and press X 3/4 of a second later. If successful, the main menu will open at the same time as the “Yes or No” on the Flight screen.
  • Fly to the city.
  • Enter any house.
  • Open the Pokémon boxes, press A, then X to open a menu
  • Go to the box you want to clone and press Y 2 times to select the entire box.
  • Move all the Pokémon to an empty box.
  • Press B 2 times to exit the extra menus. At this time, we will be back in the original box.
  • Click on a Pokémon and enter Data.

If all went well, all the Pokémon should have been duplicated, as well as the items they had. If the explanation has not been entirely clear to you, we leave you the video of youtuber Blaines, discoverer of the glitch:

It is more than likely that The Pokémon Company and the developer ILCA do not delay in correcting this glitch, so if you want to test its operation, you still have time. Of course, at your own risk and expense. Do not forget that we do not know the effects it may have on your game in the future!
