The premiere of the new generation of this model took place last summer, but in its first market (the USA), sales of the frame SUV, considered a luxury analogue of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, started only recently. And now it has become possible to purchase this car in Russia.
We are talking about Lexus GX (J310). As Daily-Motor.Ru found out, a small batch of such cars, imported through parallel imports, arrived in Russia. Each of the cars rolled off the assembly line in 2024 and is equipped with a 3.4-liter twin-turbo petrol engine producing 354 horsepower and 649 Nm.
The transmission under the hood of the SUV is a ten-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission.
Like its predecessor, the new generation Lexus GX was built on the same platform that underlies the current Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (J250), that is, on the TNGA-F architecture.
The length of the car is 5 meters, the width is 2.1 meters, and the height is 1.9 meters with a wheelbase of 2.8 meters.
The car differs from its relative Land Cruiser 250 (aka the new Prado) in richer equipment and expensive finishing materials, including high-quality leather.
In Russia, such SUVs are not cheap. Prices for them start at 13 million 900 thousand rubles.
