For Dacia, the Duster is a very important model given the commercial success it is achieving. There new generation will debut in 2024 with a design that will be distinctive for some elements taken from the Bigster concept. Meanwhile, the automaker is carrying out the development of the new model which has now been intercepted on the roads of Spain during a test session.
The new Duster protagonist of spy photo it still appears disguised with films and false elements that hide the details of the new look. However, beneath the camouflage, the car has its definitive forms.
As mentioned at the beginning, for the new design, Dacia was inspired by that of the Bigster. Despite the camouflage, in front we can observe the new LED headlights with horizontal development, a new grille and a redesigned bumper with different air intakes. Moving to the rear, you notice a temporary exhaust terminal and a sloping rear window with a spoiler. In these spy photos, the rear camouflage does not allow you to see the light clusters well. Past shots of this model, however, we had allowed us to notice the presence of Y-shaped optical groups. The images also allow us to observe the presence of the bars on the roof.
The interiors cannot be seen but the setting shouldn’t be too different from that of the current Jogger which offers an infotainment system with a 7-inch central screen. The new Dacia Duster will rest on CMF-B platform. This is an important detail because it also allows the integration of electrified units. Possible, therefore, that the new model may have hybrid engines. However, the popular bi-fuel version should not be missing from the range.
The debut of the new Duster is still missing some time and therefore more spy photos and information will probably arrive in the coming months that will allow you to better understand the characteristics of the new Dacia car.
