1. Axioo presents gaming laptops under 20 million
Indonesian computer industry technology company Axioo is again presenting its newest laptops for gamers and content creators, namely the Axioo PONGO 960 and PONGO 760.
“Starting with Axioo’s pride in Indonesia and our admiration for the orangutan (PONGO), an iconic native Indonesian animal known for its strength (Powerful), intelligence (Intelligence) and friendliness (Friendly). These characteristics give life to each of our Axioo PONGO gaming laptop series,” said PT Tera Data Indonusa Tbk (AXIO) President Director Michael Sugiarto in a press statement received Friday.
2. Nissan adopts American standard EV battery charging
Nissan has reached an agreement with Tesla to adopt the North American Charging Standard (NACS) from 2025, giving Nissan customers more options for charging their electric vehicle (EV) batteries.
Starting in 2024, Nissan will provide a NACS charging adapter for Ariya models currently equipped with Combined Charging System 1 (CCS1) for DC fast charging. This will allow its customers to charge EV batteries via compatible NACS plugs.
3. Doctors allow complementary foods to use spices from the first menu
Pediatrician dr. Miza Afrizal, SpA who is a member of the Indonesian Pediatrician Association (IDAI) allows complementary foods to be added with spices, dispelling the notion that complementary foods must be bland.
“About 10 years ago, research at that time stated that complementary foods should not taste first. However, as science has progressed to this point, it is permissible for complementary foods to be used with flavors or spices from the start,” Miza said at a media meeting in Jakarta, Friday.
4. Tips for managing panic when a child is diagnosed with a chronic disease
When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, child and family clinical psychologist Anna Surti Ariani, S.Psi., M.Psi urges parents to control their breath as a step to reduce panic.
“If, for example, we can calm ourselves down, we can actually transfer that positive energy to our children. So, the easiest step is to control our breath,” said the psychologist who is usually called Nina when met in Jakarta, Friday.
5. Jikustik releases a new mini album after eight years of absence
The band from Yogyakarta, Jikustik, released their latest album titled “Back 4 Good” after eight years of absence. The group returned with a formation consisting of Icha as vocalist and bass player, Adit as keyboard player, Dadik as guitarist, and Carlo as drummer.
According to an official statement on Friday, “Back 4 Good” contains four songs which will be released in stages until October 2023.
