Developers from the Russian studio GFA Games have published a fresh gameplay trailer for an MMO in the spirit of STALKER called pioneer.
Synopsis:
In Pioner, you play the role of an operative and find yourself in a world that survived the catastrophe – a Soviet island isolated from the mainland by a large-scale man-made anomaly. You are faced with two global tasks – to find and save your colleagues, as well as to collect information about the source of the disaster – the mysterious Burial Ground, a deadly foreign structure in the center of the island.
Pioner is an MMO game where the emphasis is on your character’s survival and exploration of the world around you. Rusting Soviet factories. Cars sinking into the ground. Abandoned settlements inhabited by trash and monsters – a world crumbling before your eyes, which is torn apart by various factions with their conflicting views.
Earlier it became known that the game will have a full-fledged open world and the ability to unite with players in clans to make the gameplay more interesting. A small team is working on the game.
Pioneer is scheduled to release in 2023 for PC. The title should also be released on consoles.
