New gameplay of Skull and Bones

Ubisoft has unveiled 30 minutes of new gameplay from Skull and Bones, a new intellectual property that has been delayed again after a series of delays over the past 5 years.

In this new video, the team introduces you to their concept of “narrative gameplay”, a dynamic approach to the narrative that unfolds when performing activities. It seems to be a very similar concept to what is used in Sea of Thieves.

There are several missions with several parts and according to Ubisoft, each step serves to deepen the characters and the world around them, not exactly to advance a general and traditional narrative.

Skull and Bones was scheduled for the end of 2022, but in the meantime it was postponed to the first three months of 2023. Now it has been postponed again to Ubisoft’s next fiscal year, which starts in April of this year and ends in March of the next.
