We wrote about Fumito Ueda’s mysterious project in 2021, and then in April 2022. For now, only concept art of the game prepared by the creators of ICO, The Last Guardian and Shadow of the Colossus has appeared). But it looks like we’re getting close to a big announcement.
Fumito Ueda gave a short interview to Famitsu, which asked the developer for plans for 2023. Ueda replied that his team is preparing for big announcements next year.
“The entire genDesign studio is working hard to finally make a major announcement. I ask for your continued support” Fumuto Ueda said.
Of course, this is the aforementioned mysterious genDesign project, which will be published by Epic Games Publishing. The company in question has already released a teaser in 2020, which featured, among others, Fumito Ueda, supported by Epic Games Publishing. We just have to wait for concrete announcements on the new work of the creator of Shadow of the Colossus.
