Magdeburg (dpa/sa) – A new funding program totaling more than 13 million euros is intended to support business founders and start-ups in Saxony-Anhalt. The Ministry of Economic Affairs announced on Monday that special groups such as student companies or projects by women starting up new businesses should benefit from this. This also included projects in the area of social enterprises. The EU Commission defines social enterprises as companies that pursue social or charitable goals. Applications are possible via the Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt.
