airBaltic is expanding its route network from Hamburg Airport and will launch a new connection to the Estonian capital Tallinn on May 2, 2025. The Latvian airline will operate the route twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, with an Airbus A220-300, making it the only direct connection from Hamburg to Estonia. airBaltic already flies from Hamburg to Riga in Latvia and Vilnius in Lithuania. Tickets can be booked now.
“We are delighted that airBaltic will be adding Tallinn as a new destination to its route network from Hamburg starting next summer. With the new connection, airBaltic is not only strengthening its continuous growth from Hamburg, but is also connecting all three Baltic states directly with our Hanseatic city. After Riga and Vilnius, Tallinn is the third destination offered from Hamburg,” said Gesa Zaremba, Head of Airline and Traffic Development at Hamburg Airport. By adding the third connection, airBaltic is underlining the importance of Hamburg Airport as an important hub for traffic to the Baltic States.
Thomas Ramdahl, Senior Vice President Network Management at airBaltic: “Germany continues to be an important market for us. We are pleased to expand airBaltic’s presence in Germany and especially in Hamburg by adding this new route to Tallinn. We thank our partners at Hamburg Airport for their years of cooperation and look forward to offering local travelers an even greater variety of convenient travel options to explore the Baltics.”
