The accident occurred on Friday, April 16, shortly after 4.15 p.m., in Rheinfelden. In Engerfeld, a driver gave the bus the right of way. This was seen too late by a scooter driver driving behind him and another car, which led to a rear-end collision.
The scooter driver had to be transferred to the hospital with moderate injuries. Property damage occurred to the vehicles involved.
The responsible public prosecutor opened a criminal investigation and ordered a blood and urine sample from both of those who had caused the accident. The driver who drove at the scooter driver had to hand in his driver’s license to the detention authorities on the spot. (mgt)
