New Free Shooting Game “The Finals” Announces Limited-Time Beta Test on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC

“The Finals”, a new free 3-player competitive shooting game developed by Nexon’s Embark Studio and featuring destructible buildings, announced today (26th) that it will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC from October 26th to November 5th. Steam cross-platform limited-time public beta test.

This open beta uses the latest version implemented after the official PC Beta test, and adds the arena map “Skyway Stadium” and the new game mode “Bankit”.

During the test period, the official will give away a free BattlePass containing 16 rewards, and the unlocked items can be retained permanently when the game is officially launched.

The background structure of “The Finals” is similar to that of “Apex Legends” and is a reality show in itself. Four groups of 12 players came to a huge city stage with the goal of finding the “treasury” hidden in the city and bringing the gold cubes back to their team’s stronghold for deposit.

The process of the game is to allow participants to compete with each other within a limited time. You can choose different light-weight configurations for your character, match them with primary weapons, secondary weapons or lethal props, and auxiliary props to kill your opponents to prevent them from obtaining gold cubes or to cover the transportation of teammates.

The current beta version contains the following content:

3 types of arenas

Skyway Stadium: A dangerous playground where you can challenge your limits. Monaco: The stone streets of Monaco, a map created for destruction and stealth combat. Seoul: Experience fast-paced vertical gameplay as you battle on top of tall buildings in downtown Seoul.

5 major game modes

Bankit: 4 teams of 3 people compete for gold coins. When one team reaches the maximum limit or the round ends, the team that accumulates the most cash wins. Normal game: “Cashout” mode, 4 teams of 3 people search for money boxes and deposit them into the vault. This is a mode that does not count ranking points. Each game has 3 rounds and 24 players. Ranking match: The official scoring match of “Cashout” mode, also a ranking match participated by 4 teams of 3 people. Each game consists of 4 rounds and 48 players. Quick Race: 3 v 3 v 3 “Cashout”. This mode has longer match times, faster respawns, and only one vault at a time. Training Ground: You can test weapon devices and movements, and practice various destructive techniques.

The cross-platform limited-time public beta test of “The Finals” has begun, and the exact launch time has yet to be officially announced.
