New free channel to receive complaints about violence in the educational field.
The Minister of Education, Édgar Pary, announced this Thursday, July 6, the implementation of mailboxes for complaints of violence and a free line in the educational field.
The free line 800 10 1757 will be available from this afternoon to receive all complaints, representations and demands related to cases of violence. In addition, ten mailboxes were exhibited, one for each Departmental Directorate of Education and the rest for the Ministry of Education. These mailboxes will be opened weekly to analyze the complaints and provide answers.
According to Minister Pary, these mechanisms will allow people to make complaints about issues of violence without having to contact another person directly, whether due to fear or other situations.
The announcement was made during the meeting of the Multidisciplinary Commission for the Fight Against Violence in Educational Units, in the presence of the Departmental Directors of Education and representatives of mothers and fathers, among other participants.
