Ford has announced that it is now accepting orders for its new generation of Ford Pro compact models, the utility Transit Courier and the multi-purpose Tourneo Courier. The first customers are expected to receive their cars at the beginning of next year.
The Transit Courier utility model offers a 25% higher transport capacity and can carry two Europallets for the first time. It will be available as a Van with EcoBoost petrol engines and EcoBlue diesel engines. The starting price for the Transit Courier Trend variant on the Czech market is 470,800 CZK without VAT.
The multi-purpose Ford Tourneo Courier boasts 44% more luggage space and a modern Sync4 multimedia system. It is equipped with a 1.0 EcoBoost gasoline engine with a power of 92 kW. The price for the Tourneo Courier Trend configuration is expected to start from CZK 526,200 without VAT.
While Ford has only published basic prices so far, it is expected that the complete price list and the option to enter the car in the configurator will be available in the coming days.
According to Libor Beneš, Ford’s Country Manager for the Czech Republic, the new utility Transit Courier and Tourneo Courier models feature an all-new design that maximizes space and practicality, along with state-of-the-art digital functions. The improved ergonomics and advanced assistance systems make driving with these cars more pleasant and safer for the driver.
In addition to the Transit Courier and Tourneo Courier models, Ford also plans to introduce the E-Transit Courier and E-Tourneo Courier, fully electric models, next year. These electric cars are part of Ford’s goal to offer nine electric models in the European market by 2024. By 2035, the automaker aims to achieve zero emissions in all vehicles sold in the European region.
Customers interested in the new Transit and Tourneo Courier models can also choose the distinctive Active version, which offers contrasting exterior details, a roof painted in white or black, roof rails, and specific seat covers.
