The Wizz Air company announced that it will introduce flights from Bucharest to Tirana, the capital of Albania. Tourists can go to the Albanian Riviera, but also to the Cursed Mountains. Tickets have already gone on sale, and the prices are low.

The first reservations for flights from Bucharest to Tirana can be made on October 29, 2023, and the ticket costs 219 lei. The race will only be made on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. There are also much lower prices, of 99 lei, but also 109 lei or 149 lei. Prices will be higher during the winter holidays. A ticket will cost 219 lei.

Wizz Air has canceled several flights
Recently, Wizz Air also announced that it will cancel several flights from and to Italy, scheduled for Saturday, due to the strike of the ground handling staff in this country. Travel time to airports, check-in and security checks may take longer than usual due to these issues.
“As ground handling staff strikes are planned throughout Italy on 15 July, Wizz Air wishes to inform that journey times to airports, check-in and security checks may take longer than usual. We strongly advise passengers to plan accordingly and allow sufficient time to arrive at the airport and complete all necessary formalities at the check-in desk, security control and boarding gate. Even though strikes are beyond our control, Wizz Air does everything possible to minimize disruption. However, the airline is, unfortunately, forced to cancel today a series of flights from and to Italy, which will not be managed by the suppliers”, Wizz Air representatives announced.
