“A number of meetings with the airlines were held for new destinations. We are currently negotiating three new destinations with Wizz Air. These are Rome, Vienna and Warsaw. We are negotiating with Ryanair for Milan, and from November we are starting flights to Manchester with their airline, which will be for a period of three years during the winter charter season. We expect more charter flights and an increase in passenger traffic with the help of the Plovdiv Airport Development Fund”said the executive director Krasimir Peshev.
The number of flights for the last one year has significantly increased, the management of Plovdiv Airport reported. The new flights, unveiled within a year with Pegasus Airlines, connect travelers to over a hundred more destinations across Istanbul.
