On April 9th, in addition to the flea market at the Press House, a new creative, antique and precious flea market will take place on the main street.
Dresden’s new market for creative, homemade, Easter, antiques, pictures, art and precious junk on the central axis of the main street (start behind the Goldener Reiter) will take place on April 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The main street is a pedestrian zone that is also popular with tourists. In winter we held an antique and flea market here in the market hall. We recommend a walk over the Augustus Bridge, past the castle, the Semperoper and the Dresden Zwinger to our other flea market on Saturday at the Press House. The market should also contribute to the high-class revitalization of the main street; numerous tradespeople (e.g. the Neustadt market hall) and Holger Zastrow (FDP) support this project.
Dealers have until April 7th to register flohmarkt-sachsen.de to register. Construction begins at Ritterstrasse or Metzer Strasse, i.e. near the Neustädter Markthalle. There are also toilets for traders and visitors.
Parking is available on Wilhelm-Buck-Strasse or Wigardstrasse (Saxon State Ministry), both of which are free at weekends.
