There was another fire in Blaichach last night – for the sixth time in eleven days. This is what is behind the current fire service operation in Oberallgäu.

Another fire tonight (September 4, 2024) in Blaichach. At around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, residents on Grüntenstraße noticed that two paper bins on the property were on fire. The police announced this early this morning.
The residents began to try to extinguish the fire themselves using water and fire extinguishers. The Blaichach fire department was alerted and was able to quickly extinguish the fire completely.
The fire destroyed the two paper bins and slightly damaged an adjacent cellar window. The damage is estimated at around 500 euros. No one was injured and the Kempten Criminal Investigation Department is now investigating.
