Soarin’ Around the World was launched at the park EPCOT in 2016, and since then has offered an overview of the former Future Worldwith the Fountain of Nations, Innoventions and Spaceship Earthto conclude the attraction. Since work to redevelop the park’s façade began in 2019, this scene has quickly become obsolete.

Disney eventually rectified the problem by adding a newly shot final sequence flying over the area of World Celebration reimagined.

One aspect of the attraction that has received a lot of criticism is the distortion of the Eiffel Tower when you sit at the edge of the room. Disney also worked to resolve this issue by introducing an updated sequence. You now approach the Eiffel Tower from further away, like with the Tokyo Tower in the Japanese version of the attraction. Tokyo DisneySeamaking the tower less likely to appear distorted.

It is currently unknown whether the version of Disney California Adventure has been or will be updated with the “fixed” sequence of the Eiffel Tower.
