The fact that another film will be made about Vladimir Vysotsky, director and producer Alexander Zhigalkin informed in an interview with TAAC. Previously, a biographical picture was already released about the artist – Sergey Bezrukov starred in it.

The next tape dedicated to the poet will be called “Volodya”. Actor Alexander Shpagin will play him, but the bard’s face will be recreated using a neural network – with “100% identity”.

This is a feature film, in which for the first time in the history of cinema a real historical character with 100% identity will be recreated using a neural network.

We have an actor Alexander Shpagin, he is a godsend for our history. This is a person who has existed in this image for many years. The manner of speaking, walking, playing the guitar and so on are very identical with additional work. I think that we will achieve almost 100% similarity.

In all the musical performances present in the tape, you can hear the real voice of Vladimir Vysotsky, and his son, Nikita, who already “gave” his voice to his father in the previous film, will take care of the voice acting of the dialogues.

The picture is being created with the support of Channel One – when it will be released is currently unknown. The plot of the tape will unfold in 1967, when “Vertical” was released in the cinemas of the Soviet Union. The story will focus on “the artist’s three main love stories.”
