New fiber internet service to boost speeds in Ellensburg and Selah

Fiber Optic Future: Lightcurve to Deliver Blazing-Fast Internet to Washington Communities

Ellensburg and Selah, Washington – Get ready for a digital revolution. Lightcurve, a leading internet service provider, is set to transform the online experience in Ellensburg and Selah with cutting-edge fiber optic infrastructure projects. Residents and businesses can expect internet speeds up to 100 times faster than current offerings, ushering in a new era of connectivity.

“We felt these markets were underserved when it came to high-speed internet," explained Anand Vadapalli, Lightcurve’s President and CEO. “There was a real opportunity for us to upgrade the network to fiber optics and bring the fastest internet that’s available today."

This ambitious project follows Lightcurve’s recent acquisition of Consolidated Communications’ Washington assets. The company is committed to replacing legacy copper facilities with state-of-the-art fiber networks, which offer significantly faster upload and download speeds.

"We are very invested in the communities where we have businesses," emphasized Lorie Hills, Lightcurve’s Marketing Communications Manager. "It’s important to us to bring those types of services, the fiber, into these rural communities where it’s really needed.”

The fiber optic network will deliver symmetrical service, meaning upload speeds will match download speeds – a feature unavailable with traditional cable networks. This advancement unlocks new possibilities for remote work, telemedicine, and online education, empowering residents and businesses alike.

Construction is slated to begin after January 1st, but Lightcurve is already engaging with both communities. "These events that we are hosting in the first week of December are really to talk more about these projects," Vadapalli stated.

Open houses will be held at the Selah Springs Brewing Company on Tuesday, December 3rd, and the Ellensburg Pasta Company on Thursday, December 5th, both from 5 to 7 p.m. Residents are encouraged to attend, learn about the project details, and ask questions.

Lightcurve’s initiative signifies a significant leap forward for digital access in Ellensburg and Selah. The company’s commitment to providing reliable high-speed internet is poised to transform the way people live, work, and connect in these communities.
