The popular multiplayer game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG released today, Thursday (11/11). There are a number of new features offered in this latest version.
The update to PUBG New State focuses on the multiplayer mode. PUBG New State was released in 200 countries, and comes in 17 languages.
New State is an update of PUBG which first appeared and was popular in 2017. The popularity of the ‘action’ game spread when the 2018 mobile version was launched.
The development of the original PUBG Mobile was handled mainly by Chinese tech giant Tencent.
PUBG Studios emphasizes that New State will come with a strong “anti-cheat”. The company will actively monitor the community to catch problems before they grow too widespread.
New Features of PUBG New State
PUBG presents the update version 14.2 which brings a number of new features and weapons, one of which is the Mortar weapon.
The PUBG New State game is one of the popular games loved by gamers, both in the mobile (mobile), PC, and game console versions such as PS4 and Xbox.
PUBG developers last week provided details on the version 14.2 update for PUBG PC players who are not on the test server.
New Weapon
Reported from Slashgear, this update presents a number of new things for players. Now players can use Mortar weapons on Maps Taego which will appear in buildings.
The weapon can be fired from a distance of 121 to 700 meters, or to carry out long range attacks.
All maps or maps in PUBG will feature M79 smoke grenade launchers to create smoke that can be used to hide.
The weapon is said to only take the pistol slot, so it will not sacrifice the long-barreled weapon slot.
Swimming Mode
Furthermore, the 14.2 update also provides new features when swimming. Previously, players who were injured (knocked) in the territorial waters were certain to die.
Now with the Swimming Mode, players can be healed while in the water or diving to avoid being shot. That way the player has a greater chance of surviving, even though the swimming speed is quite slow.
Chicken Character
Another interesting PUBG New State update is the chicken character that is presented in PUBG. Chicken is one of the icons of this game, one of which is the tagline ‘chicken dinner’ which is given to the winner.
Reported from BGR, the character of the chicken will be presented on Maps Taego and has the nature of a chicken in general which is calm when not disturbed.
But the chicken will be frightened if it hears movement, gunfire, or other boisterous sounds. The sound of chickens will interfere with the movement of players when sneaking.
However, the player can kill the chickens to silence them, and play without the noise of the chickens.
