Jakarta –
iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, and macOS Sonoma are now in public beta and can be downloaded easily. This is a series of new features.
The presence of updates like this may be eagerly awaited by users who want to refresh their devices. What’s more, maybe users are curious about the new features in the OS.
Features iOS 17
Apple is bringing a number of new features, which are actually small but interesting features. For example StanBy mode, interactive widgets etc. In iOS 17 users can create custom views for their contact list. There is also a Live Voicemail feature that will transcribe voice messages in real time.
AirDrop also gets a new feature, namely NameDrop, which will send files by bringing two iPhones closer together. There is also a new AI-equipped keyboard — Apple calls it machine learning –, as well as a new app called Journal.
Fitur iPadOS 17
New features are also provided for iPadOS 17, such as a customizable lock screen, Health app and interactive widgets. The Live Stickers feature for making stickers from photos is also presented on the iPad.
Several features involving the use of PDF files are also presented. For example filling out PDF forms becomes easier, or also interacting with PDF files, for example to mark using a Pencil.
Fitur macOS Sonoma
The operating system for Mac is of course also updated. The new features include users being able to install widgets on the desktop, Continuity to access iPhone widgets from the desktop, a number of new video conferencing features, and various other productivity features.
Keep in mind, all of these OS updates are still in the public beta phase, aka there may still be bugs and application compatibility issues. But usually this public beta version is relatively stable for everyday use.
