“New Features for Whatsapp Status: Privacy, Voice Messages, Emoji Reactions, and Link Previews”

Whatsapp continues to amaze its users with new updates and changes. But that should be particularly surprising: Messenger has five new features. They all concern status.

Everything is new at Whatsapp – at least as far as the status is concerned. Here you can upload pictures and videos for 24 hours, which will then disappear again. The function is very popular with many users. And that’s why WhatsApp is now making improvements.

Exclude whatsapp contacts from status

The innovation allows you to update the privacy setting for each status. So if you upload two different pictures in your status, you can decide for each one who is allowed to see it and who is not. The setting made is then saved and used again the next time.

The voice message is also a popular feature that is used frequently. In the Whatsapp status you could only communicate in writing or via pictures and videos. The new update allows you to share voice messages of up to 30 seconds with your contacts. This is especially useful when you have a lot to share and the content is intended for multiple people.

Whatsapp introduces emoji reaction

Also new: You can react to the status of your contacts with an emoji. To do this, you have to tap on your smartphone and your contact will receive a message. You can choose between eight different emojis. The reaction then ends up with your contact in the chat.

Actually, you can only see the status of your contacts if you click on the “Status” menu item. It’s even easier with an update. When you post a status, a blue circle will appear around your profile picture. With a click on your picture, your friends can now see your status.
