WhatsApp has started to offer users a new feature where the sent media can only be viewed once by the recipient.

HOW TO USE THE NEW FEATURE
According to screenshots shared by WaBetaInfo, when users select media from the gallery to post. On the right of the “Add a title” bar, you will see the “1” icon.
When users tap and activate this icon, media sent to the other party only will be displayed once and then deleted.
This feature, which is valid for photos, videos and GIFs, will also be valid for posts to be made in groups. The sender will also be able to control who has opened the media in the groups.
Although the recipient has the opportunity to view the sent media once, he can take a screenshot of the media and store it permanently. It is not yet known how WhatsApp will take action in this regard.
View Once The feature is available for beta users in Android WhatsApp version 2.21.14.3.
