LAHORE, KOMPAS.com – Mayra Zulfiqar British girl of Pakistani descent who was killed on Monday (3/5/2021), died of gunshot wounds to the neck and arms according to autopsy results.
The 24-year-old girl’s forensic examination showed that she was bleeding to death, not from strangulation as the initial report had.
Mayra, who is from Feltham in southwest London, also had bruises on her right hand and left leg, according to the report. Daily Mail on Wednesday (5/5/2021).

Mayra Zulfiqar died after four men broke into her apartment in Lahore, where she was staying on Monday with a friend.
Police believe the murder was a crime motivated by lust, as Mayra refused the marriage proposals of two of her alleged assailants.
Police are now hunting for the two men, identified as Saad Ameer Butt and Zahir Jadoon, but there have been no arrests.
Sayyed Ali, the operations supervisor at the Punjab Police, told a Pakistani newspaper, Dawn, that Mayra was found in his room with a cell phone near his body.
“We are also pursuing two suspects and will share further details at a later stage,” added Sayyed.
“We’ve confiscated cell phones for forensic analysis.”

Sayyed said police were analyzing footage from a nearby CCTV camera, hoping to help find the suspect.
Mayra had only been in Pakistan for two months before dying. He had an agenda to attend his cousin’s wedding, but had to stay longer as the South Asian country was on the UK’s Covid travel red list, family members told Daily Mail.
Mayra’s uncle, Mohammad Nazeer who lives in Lahore, said two men had threatened his nephew with dire consequences if he refused their proposal.
Then on Monday he got a call from Mayra’s father in London that his son had been shot dead.

Mayra’s neighbors reported hearing screaming and at least two shots before police arrived.
When the police arrived they found Mayra Zulfiqar’s body covered in blood in an upstairs bedroom.
Mayra Zulfiqar shooting is believed to have occurred after 4 a.m. local time, in an apartment rented by one of his friends.
Mayra Zulfiqar dreams of becoming a lawyer and establishing her own law firm.
Prior to going to Pakistan to attend her cousin’s wedding, Mayra Zulfiqar had an internship at a legal firm in Dubai.
