New Exhibition: Mariano Ibáñez’s Landscapes, Seascapes, and Nightlife at Provincial Palace

Under the title “Mariano Ibanez. “Landscapes, seascapes and nightlife”, Deputation of Alicante has presented this Thursday a new exhibition proposal, which can be visited at the Provincial Palace until next December 9.

The deputy for Culture, Juan de Dios Navarro, has inaugurated the samplecurated by José Luis Antequeraand has stated that “it is a great satisfaction for the Provincial Council to have this new cultural proposal that perfectly reflects Ibáñez’s great passion for paint and is a true reflection of his attachment for our tierralas Beachesthe colors and, of course, the essence of the Mediterranean.

Trips

For his part, the artist has made reference to his travels through the norte of Spain, France and his hometown, Alicante, which have served as a source of inspiration throughout the forty years he has dedicated to painting. As the deputy explained, “Mariano Ibáñez’s production gives off vitalism and transmits positive sensations to the viewer, evoking their happy moments by the sea or capturing the relief effects of their urban landscapes.

A lawyer by profession, Ibáñez has exhibited his work in renowned cultural centers, including the Rosa Abreu de Grancher Foundation in Paris. Now through 29 framesthe Provincial Council offers an anthology of his pictorial work, which can be visited until December in the Provincial Palace, from Monday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
