New Evidence of Tangmo Nida’s Death Case, Police Find These 2 Objects in the Chao Phraya River

KOMPAS.com – The head of the national police, Suwat Jangyoduk, said that the death of the Thai actress Tangmo Nida appears to be an accident, according to the evidence found.

So far, the police have conducted an investigation by requesting statements from 29 witnesses.

It also asked for evidence such as history of cell phone calls, speed of the ship while driving, as well as GPS data on the internet speedboat which Tangmo Nida was riding on the night of the accident.

The police are also studying further regarding the report on the results of the forensic examination.

Reported from Bangkok PostMonday (7/3/2022), Provincial Police Commissioner 1, Lt. Gen. Pol Jirapat Phumijit, said on Sunday that the police would still collect evidence from the investigation.

The investigation is being handled without any interference from other parties. Case investigation the death of Tangmo Nida also supervised directly by the national police chief.

On Sunday, marine division divers found two objects in the Chao Phraya River near the Phibul Songkhram wharf.

The two objects were handed over for forensic examination. Police are also looking for other objects at the scene of things that witnesses say have been dumped into the river.

According to Vietnamese media reports, eva.vn, Thai media recently published a story about the police finding two important pieces of evidence related to the Tangmo Nida accident.

Important evidence was found on Sunday (6/3/2022) at 4:40 p.m. local time near the Phibun Songkhram 3 pier on the Chao Phraya River.

The two objects were a gray bag containing a tall, neatly packed vase and a mysterious, palm-sized object.

The object was found at coordinates about 50 meters from the pier.

Thai Government Police Commander Suwat Chaengyodsuk will announce the results of the investigation in the next two to three days.

Most likely case of death Tangmo Nida is ordinary accident.

Tangmo Nida was found dead after reportedly falling into the Chao Phraya River near the Pibul Songkhram 1 pier on Thursday (24/2/2022).

Reported from Independent, Sunday (6/3/2/2022), Tangmo Nida’s body was only found on Saturday (26/2/2022) after a 38-hour search.

Currently the police have named Tanupat, the ship’s owner and Phaiboon the ship’s driver, as defendants in the case of operating the ship without a permit causing death.
