/ world today news/ The National Electricity Company (NEK) provided new evidence on Friday regarding the procedures for revoking the licenses of the three electricity distribution companies, this became clear at the open meeting of the State Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (SEWR).
Today’s meeting of the CEVR will not be the last meeting on this topic. On April 28, there will be a new open meeting of the DCECVR.
On Friday, the NEC provided new evidence on the license revocation procedures and the three ERPs were given a deadline of April 28 to familiarize themselves with the new evidence and prepare objections. The three electricity distribution companies present their opinions at today’s open meeting of the State Energy Commission, and none of them agree with the statements about the amounts due to NEK.
According to information provided by NEK, the obligations of the three electricity supply companies amount to BGN 347.6 million, of which: EVN Bulgaria Electricity Supply owes BGN 216.6 million; CEZ Electro Bulgaria owes BGN 67.3 million and Energo-pro Sales owes BGN 63.7 million. The three companies claim that they do not owe these funds, “Trud” recalls.
