BAt the 2024 general meeting with new elections, Gerhard Zehetner was re-elected chairman.
The Zwentendorf equestrian sports club invited people to the 16th ordinary general meeting with new elections in the clubhouse in Maria Ponsee. The association currently has 73 members. Chairman Gerhard Zehetner looked back on 2023 in a picture sheet with activities, trips, meetings and participation in social events. In the new election, which must take place every three years according to the statutes, Gerhard Zehetner was elected chairman and Heinz Reibnagl as deputy, Regina Felber as treasurer, Siegfried Hindinger as deputy treasurer, Andrea Reiter as secretary and Beatrix Mohr as deputy secretary. Thomas Hinterberger and Werner Schlachtner are the cash auditors. The unanimous election was accepted by all members.
Vice Mayor Johann Horst Scheed thanked the association for its active contribution to the cultural life of the market town of Zwentendorf. Vice Johann Scheed is convinced that “the club is an enrichment for the community.” NÖPS Vice President Christian Schlögelhofer thanked the chairman for his active work. “The Zwentendorf Equestrian Sports Club is a traditional club, it guarantees quality, camaraderie is very important and you can notice the spirit in the club,” were his words to the general meeting. Before the meeting moved into the more relaxed part, the planned projects and dates for 2024 were presented and the purchase of high-visibility vests with a logo was announced.
