New earthquakes have been registered in Turkey – World

A new series of seven earthquakes have been registered on the territory of Turkey within a few minutes shortly before 15:00 local time (coincides with Bulgarian time), shows a reference on the official website of the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

The strongest earthquake had a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter was 23 km southeast of the city of Bahce and 38 km east of Osmaniye, with a depth of 10 km.

In many places in Turkey, search operations have been suspended

The tremor was preceded by two weaker ones measuring 2.9 and 2.7 on the Richter scale, and was followed by four weaker earthquakes measuring between 2.5 and 2.9 on the Richter scale.

No data on injured or damaged.

The data is verified by seismologists.
