The country registered increased seismic activity
A new earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 occurred today in the Nigde district of central Turkey. The tremor was registered at 13:27 local time between the cities of Obruk and Bor.

The government’s Directorate for Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD) indicated that the epicenter was in the vicinity of Bor at a depth of 7 km.

Southern Turkey registered increased seismic activity after two earthquakes measuring 7.7 and 7.6 on the Richter scale and epicentered in Kahramanmaras district on February 6.
Over 50,000 are already the victims of the strong earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. According to the latest data, the earthquake took the lives of 44,218 people in our southern neighbor.
