New earthquake in Turkey – February 20, 2023

An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 hit Turkey. Tremors were recorded in Antakya – in the province of Hatay on the border with Syria. About this with reference to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center on the evening of February 20 informs TASS.

According to seismologists, the source lay at a depth of 2 kilometers. TV channel Haberturk informs that several houses were destroyed as a result of the incident. No possible casualties have yet been reported.
