New Dutch F1 channel announces major press conference

Next year, the broadcasting rights for Formula 1 in the Netherlands will move from Ziggo Sport to the Swedish NENT (Nordic Entertainment Group), which wants to bring Formula 1 into the living rooms via the streaming service Viaplay.

On December 8, the company will provide more clarity about the implementation of its Dutch Formula 1 channel. The Scandinavian party will give a big press conference.

First big names already known

In recent months, NENT has already announced that it has big plans, Peter Nørrelund, the company’s Chief Sports Officer, told RacingNews365. “Not only will we work from a studio in Amsterdam, but we will also have at least two commentators and a pit reporter on location.”

Marco Zwaneveld was previously announced as Head of Sports and at the beginning of this month NENT announced that Amber Brantsen from the NOS will come over and present the studio broadcasts around the Formula 1 races. So, on December 8, more will probably become clear about her future colleagues.
