I thought it was really interesting to be able to be involved.”

Teru Iwamoto comment

How I felt when it was decided that I would be appearing on the show.

Lately, I’ve been living with a bit of an inquisitive mindset, so at first I wondered, “Are you really saying that? I wonder what it’s all about?” However, when I actually met Mr. Shiraishi, I felt like, “Ah, it’s true!” Also, when I was making a suit for my costume, I had it repaired several times, and as I did so, I started to look forward to it more and more, and even then I started to realize that it was real, and now I am working on it. I feel happy.

Enthusiasm to play the lead role in a drama series for the first time

The work is not something I create alone, so I have a limited amount of time, but I communicate with everyone through my role and even when I’m not filming, and I try to make time for everyone to have fun by acting as much as possible. I hope I can do it.

Thoughts after reading the script

This is the first time I’ve heard of the genre of action/romantic comedy, and it’s all genres: there’s love, there’s comedy, but there’s also action.
When I read the script, I could feel how he was going to give it his all, and my image expanded rapidly, so I think it would be a lot of fun to film it.

What I keep in mind and prepare for my role

To prepare for my role, I’m eating sweets and training…well, it’s just the same as usual (lol). Training has become so much a part of my lifestyle these days that I’m already at the point where when people ask me, “Did you train?” it doesn’t really pay attention to me. For me, training comes in the same line as “Have you brushed your teeth?” So, I’m thinking that if there’s a place where I can hang, I’ll try training by hanging so as not to disturb everyone during filming.

If you were to try something for 24 hours, what would you like to do?

Is it a sauna? I’ve always wanted to go to the limit just once. The best I’ve ever done is about 14 sets, which were probably 5 or 6 hours long. Of course, I will take breaks, but I think that if I had 24 hours, I would be able to reach a world of “Seizai” that I have not yet discovered.

If you were asked to be a bodyguard, who would you like to protect?

I think I want to protect the character. For example, when something happens to characters at a theme park or people who are passionate about giving dreams, there are times when you feel like your feet are… I think there’s a possibility that this could happen, so I’ve been watching it from the perspective of wanting to serve as a security guard at least once.

About being in charge of the theme song

When I heard the song, I was really looking forward to it, imagining what it would be like if it were to be played in a drama. Also, this time I will be doing the choreography for this song, so I thought it would be really interesting to be able to be involved in various aspects such as the drama, the song, and the choreography.

What I’m looking forward to when shooting

Lately, I’ve been playing games from time to time, so I’d like to have Mr. Shiraishi teach me how to play while I teach him how to do muscle training. But don’t be like, “Those guys are just playing around and can’t remember their lines at all” (lol).

How I felt when it was decided that I would be appearing on the show.

I was very happy. It was my first time playing a lawyer, so I thought it would be a solid role, but when I opened the script, there were a lot of comedic and pop parts, so I thought I’d do my best while having fun while filming.

Enthusiasm to appear in this work

Mr. Iwamoto said, “I wish I could do something even a little bit to create a time where everyone can have a good time,” so I’m thinking of doing my best to be the chairperson.

Thoughts after reading the script

I think it can be seen as both a comedy and a work drama, so I hope people will enjoy watching it as a new genre.I felt that the story was so funny that it would make you laugh, so this is purely my personal opinion. I’m really looking forward to it.

Things I keep in mind and prepare for my first role as a lawyer

Actually, I have also started training, so I would like to train as hard as Mr. Iwamoto, but at the same time, I would like to think about how to look like a lawyer and how to convey things clearly.

If you were to try something for 24 hours, what would you like to do?

I quite like playing games, so I think I could play games 24 hours a day. But maybe I’ll get bored…?

What I’m looking forward to when shooting

Mr. Iwamoto said earlier that he likes sweets, so I gave him sweets while he worked out (lol). Also, I have a cool impression of Mr. Iwamoto, so I think it would be great if we could talk about various things so that we can explore other aspects of him.
