Just arrived and already hard at work. Myriam Garcia, new sub-prefect of Draguignan, in office since Monday, participated in her first traffic check in the company of the gendarmes of the Var road squadron.
“Since the first fatal accident I had to attend as part of my duties – a misdirection on the motorway – my vision has changed and I have a particular appetite for road safety”underlined Myriam Garcia during this check carried out at Le Muy on the road to Sainte-Maxime, in the direction of the A8 motorway, Friday August 4, 2023. “Attending this check also allows me to meet the security forces, something important in any appointment.”
