So there are two Karpe film projects on the way. It was after a week of cryptic Instagram posts that the Karpe duo this week presented their own project.

“Omar Sheriff” is an hour-long film that is played in an “infinite loop”, and which contains new music from the duo.

On Twitter Chirag describes it all as a “desi / arab sci fi” universe. He also informs that it is film director Kavar Singh who has created the universe from the culture house Festiviteten in Skien, which Karpe bought in 2018.

The website, which was presented at nine o’clock on Wednesday night, was down for several hours due to heavy traffic.

The documentary “The Lawless”, a story about the Norwegian German girls, also receives a grant. Director Lena-Christin Kalle og Aldeles AS receives NOK 700,000 from the Norwegian Film Institute.
