New district fire chief appointed – Rhein Main Verlag

Shortly before the end of the year, District Administrator of the Offenbach District, Oliver Quilling, in the presence of District Fire Inspector Ralf Ackermann and his deputy Thomas Peters presented Reiner Störger with the certificate of appointment as District Fire Chief.

The Seligenstädter will in future also be deployed in the event of major damage beyond Einhardstadt. Reiner Störger will focus on the area of ​​hazardous substances, radiation and chemical protection (GABC). In the course of this, he is to take over the specialist advice on hazardous substances and also the operational management in these special supra-local operations in command vehicle 2 (short: ELW 2) as well as the coordination of the pollutant measurements at district level. In addition, he should help coordinate the training of the hazardous substances units.

“We are pleased to be able to win a new district fire chief in Reiner Störger”, says District Administrator Oliver Quilling when handing over the certificate on the terrace of the district building. “It is very important for us to have specialists on our team.”
