Disney+ has new details about the upcoming documentary series at the Edinburgh TV Festival Camden revealed. The show focuses on the London borough of the same name and the influence the neighborhood has had on a number of prominent artists.
The series is co-produced by Radical22, Dua Lipa’s production company. The British singer herself will also appear in the series, alongside artists such as Coldplay singer Chris Martin, Pete Doherty and Boy George. Yungblud, Mark Ronson and Black Eyed Peas will also appear in the series.
The direction is in the hands of Asif Kapadia. He previously made the documentary Amy about singer Amy Winehouse, who died in 2011. That documentary from 2015 earned the Brit an Oscar.
At the Edinburgh TV Festival, Disney+ also shared other plans for documentaries. For example, the streaming service comes with, among other things, the three-part documentary World War Shoe: adidas vs. Pumaabout the rivalry between two of the biggest sportswear brands in the world.
Those present were also able to see the first images of the documentary Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story with Keanu Reeves.
