Al-Marsad Newspaper: Egyptian Supply Minister Ali Al-Moselhi was presented with a memorandum filed by traders and outlet owners in Dakahlia Governorate accusing the shopkeeper from Sherbin of making £60 million from sugar packaging.
The text of the memorandum stated that the merchants and outlet owners of two associations in the city of Sherbin, which is affiliated with the governorate of Dakahlia, were harmed by the shopkeeper and his son, who works as an auditor in the same branch, and the branch secretary, as they all work in the Shebin Oil and Sugar Wholesale branch of the General Company for Trade, which is one of the companies of the Ministry of Supply and Domestic Trade, performing its duties in distributing food rations to various merchants.
In the note submitted to the Minister for Supply and Home Trade, the traders indicated that they are accused of embezzling £60 million a month from rationing subsidy funds, in addition to that the aforementioned shopkeeper committed many violations and incidents in cooperation with others, which would have caused them harm, as well as forcing them to submit transportation requests from Sherbin branches to other branches.
For its part, the General Wholesale Company, East Delta Company, affiliated with the Ministry of Supply and Domestic Trade, issued a decision stating that the woman and a branch secretary of the Sherbin Center in the Governorate of Dakahlia were suspended from work and transferred to the Public Funds Attorney and transferred to the Public Funds Attorney.
The note showed that they had been transferred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office and that they had been suspended from work, following the presentation against them of a lawsuit for seizure of the monthly maintenance fund.
According to the note, starting from the date of issue of this decision, half of their salaries will be paid during the period of suspension, in accordance with the provisions of article no. 30 of the Sanctions Regulation.
