Al-Marsad newspaper: Yasser Al-Shahrani, the Saudi national team player, underwent successful pancreatic gland surgery in Riyadh National Guard’s King Abdulaziz Medical City, with follow-up by the medical staff of the national.
Al-Shahrani had arrived in Riyadh, via medical evacuation, after it was decided he needed surgery, following the injury he sustained during the World Cup match with Argentina.
Al-Shahrani was seriously injured after a strong collision in the head, chest and abdomen.
