New details on Project U or Ubisoft’s ‘Pathfinder’ shared

We’ve already been able to watch most of the Ubisoft games in development via trailers, but the publisher also has some titles we haven’t seen yet. Project U is one of them, a cooperative shooter currently in development that recently released the early playtests they’ve started.

Players are not allowed to share information or images, but they do so despite the confidentiality agreement and this now provides us with some more information via Insider Gaming. The final name of the PvEvP shooter could be “Pathfinder” and the game has an architecture from the Hyper Scape closed shooter.

The goal of the game is to get to the center of the map, defeating the enemies of the AI that get more and more challenging. However, some areas are closed until you reach a certain level, which you do again by killing enemies, completing missions, taking areas and more.

Also, you have to work together as a team, in which there are different roles. You have an attacker, a defender, a medic and a support, each of them having separate abilities. Finally, the game has a central hub where players can meet, a shooting range and a number of minigames can also be found here.

It is not yet known when Ubisoft will show more Project U or Pathfinder.
