Shocking news about European football champion Lamine Yamal (17): The super talent’s father was stabbed to death on Wednesday evening (14 August) in a parking lot in the Spanish city of Mataro.
Mounir Nasraoui (32) suffered two stab wounds in the abdomen and one in the chest. He was only able to leave the hospital after two days.

It was initially unclear why the incident occurred, but the police were able to track down witnesses to the incident immediately after it happened. Four suspects were arrested.
According to Spanish media reports, one of the four suspects has now been remanded in custody. He is believed to have stabbed Mounir Nasraoui. The other three arrested after the crime were released on conditional release by a judge in Mataró. They could be charged with attempted manslaughter or incitement or aiding and abetting it.
The conditions include a ban on approaching or contacting the victim, Mounir Nasraoui. The suspects are Spaniards who all belong to the same family, reported the newspaper “La Vanguardia”.
Nasraoui is said to have told police that the suspects had set a trap for him that evening. Yamal’s father was apparently walking his dog when he was pelted with water from a balcony. The situation then escalated.
